Activities in the Borgo
The beautiful Tuscan countryside stretches around Borgo Tignano, where you can go on short or long excursions on foot or by bike. For example, you can take a romantic walk at sunset to visit our large natural water spring or our picturesque olive groves. Another interesting destination is the small Tuscan marble quarry that belongs to our borgo. On request, we also offer picnic baskets with delicious Tuscan snacks that will perfectly complement your excursion.
Borgo Tignano has a large pool that invites you to swim laps and relax. There are also various sunbathing areas where you can relax in the sun or shade.
We have various field paths that are perfect for exploring and jogging.
To the left of the entrance gate is an old quarry where green Tuscan marble used to be quarried. The quarry is an excellent destination for a short walk and as a picnic spot.
Below the olive trees there is a newly built animal watering place, which can be reached via a dirt track. With a bit of luck, wild animals can be observed drinking there.
